How to use

Formula and example

For a 100 subtotal, 8.25 tax, and an 18% tip on the subtotal, the tip is 18 and the final bill is 126.25. Split between two people, the displayed share is 63.13 each. Select the tax-and-service option only when those charges should be part of the tip base.

The calculator is currency-neutral. Use the same currency for every amount and verify the receipt’s service charge and rounding rules before paying.
