When is this useful?
Parking lots often use different fee rules, so it’s hard to estimate the final cost in advance.
This tool calculates the estimated parking fee, overtime minutes, charged units, whether the daily max applies, and the final amount after a coupon or validation discount.

Calculation logic
- If parking time is within base time, base fee is applied.
- Overtime is charged by ceil(overtime ÷ additional unit).
- If a daily max fee is set, the result is capped once for the whole stay or separately for each 24-hour block, depending on your selection.
- Optional discount is subtracted after cap handling, and the final estimate never goes below zero.
Example
- Parking time: 135 minutes
- Base: 60 minutes / 2,000 KRW
- Extra: 500 KRW per 10 minutes
- Daily max: 15,000 KRW
- Discount: none
Overtime is 75 minutes, so 8 extra units are charged. The estimate is 6,000 KRW before any discount.
For long stays, the result can change a lot depending on whether the same daily max is applied only once to the whole stay or reset for every 24-hour block.

FAQ
What happens if the extra unit does not divide evenly?
Most parking lots round up the charged unit. For example, even 1 minute over a 10-minute unit is billed as one additional unit, and this calculator uses the same rounding-up rule.
What if the parking lot has no daily max fee?
Leave the daily max field blank to calculate without a cap.
How do I enter free parking time?
Use the free period as the base time and set the base fee to 0.
Can I include a coupon or validation discount?
Yes. Enter the discount amount and it will be subtracted after the daily max handling. The final estimate will not go below zero.
Can I calculate overnight parking?
Yes. Parking time supports up to 10,080 minutes, or 7 days. For multi-day parking, check whether the lot applies the daily cap every 24 hours.
Why might the actual payment differ?
Partner validation, night flat rates, weekday/weekend rules, entry-time rounding, and local fee tables can change the final payment.
