Why use it?
Reading notes again and again is not the same as recalling them. This tool turns a simple list of prompts and answers into a lightweight quiz flow so you can test memory instead of only rereading.
It is especially useful when you already have vocabulary, exam notes, interview prompts, or product facts but do not want to configure a full study app. Paste the list, shuffle it, reveal each answer, self-grade it, and collect only wrong or skipped cards for another round.
How it works
- Enter one prompt-answer card per line.
- Use
=or a tab as the safest separator. Colons and commas are also recognized. - Create the quiz and decide whether to shuffle the cards.
- Recall the answer before revealing it; grading unlocks only after reveal.
- Mark the card correct or wrong, or skip it if you are unsure.
- Retry wrong and skipped cards or copy the review list for later study.

Input validation and limits
- Blank lines are ignored and exact duplicate prompt-answer pairs are removed.
- Lines with no separator or an empty side are reported instead of becoming broken cards.
- A quiz uses the first 200 valid cards and reports when extra cards were omitted.
- Pasted HTML is displayed as text, so tags and scripts do not run inside the review list.
- Correct and wrong controls stay disabled until you reveal the answer.
If no valid cards are found, the result area explains the expected format and reports lines that need attention. If more than 200 valid cards are pasted, the first 200 are used and the limit is clearly reported.

FAQ
Can I use commas or colons as separators?
Yes, but = or a tab is safer when a prompt itself contains punctuation. The tool preserves punctuation after the selected separator inside the answer.
Can I retry only the cards I missed?
Yes. When the quiz ends, wrong and skipped cards appear in the review list and can be restarted as a smaller quiz.
Can prompts and answers be very long?
Each prompt can contain up to 300 characters and each answer up to 1,000. Short, focused cards are usually easier to recall; split long explanations into several prompts.
Is it safe to paste private study or workplace material?
Parsing and scoring happen in the browser and the tool does not save cards to a server. On shared devices, however, remove names, account details, and confidential policy text, and be mindful of screen recording or clipboard history.
