This calculator simplifies fractions made from whole numbers exactly. Decimal inputs are not supported, and each input is limited to an absolute value of 10,000,000 to prevent precision errors.

When is percent output useful?

Negative fractions and invalid inputs
Apply a quick expression with Enter; the Unicode minus in −1/2 + 1/3 is accepted. 1/0 + 1/3 triggers a zero-denominator error; 1/2 ÷ 0/3 triggers a division-by-zero error. Both disable result copying. Sign normalization only runs on valid inputs and never turns a blank numerator into zero. Reset clears all inputs and results; enter two fractions or apply an expression to calculate again.
Why do the decimal and percent results show zero?
Very small values may round to zero at the displayed precision. Decimals use up to 8 decimal places and percentages up to 4. Check the simplified fraction for the exact value.
