How to use it
1. Choose the start and target dates
Select both dates to calculate the result instantly. If either field is empty or contains an invalid date, the calculator clears the result and shows what needs attention.
2. Choose the counting mode
Turn on Exclude weekends (business days) to use the number of weekdays between the dates. This mode excludes Saturdays and Sundays only—not public holidays. The difference excludes the start date and includes the target date.
3. Read or copy the result

With March 2 as the start date and April 20 as the exam date, the calendar-day result is D-49.

When should I exclude weekends?
Use the option when you need the number of weekdays before a deadline. It excludes Saturdays and Sundays only, so subtract public holidays and company closure days separately.
Why are business-day difference and business days (weekdays) different?
The business-day difference excludes the start date and counts through the target date. The business-days card counts weekdays across the inclusive range, including both endpoints when they are weekdays.
Can I use a target date that has already passed?
